The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) has retained Kirby Partners to conduct a nationwide executive search for candidates for their Product Owner, Business Applications (Symplr).

Product Owner, Business Applications (Symplr) Position Overview

With an innovative new CIO in place, the University of Miami Health System (UHealth) is in the process of expanding its technical capabilities, increasing their IT team, and continually optimizing their use of the Epic electronic health record. With a highly collaborative culture, relationship building across functional areas is encouraged to move projects forward and ensure the highest quality of clinical care.

The Product Owner, Business Applications (Symplr), is a new position for UHealth.

The position will report to the AVP of IT Business Applications, and will be responsible for:

  • Providing enterprise assistance at the department and individual level on maximizing the use of Symplr applications.
  • Serving as a resource to other departments regarding Symplr applications.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Symplr Workforce and Meditract applications expertise
  • Experience in migration to new apps

Preferred:

  • Project management experience
  • Workday experience
  • Background with Clarvia, Qgenda, and Kronos
  • EMR experience (Epic preferred)
