Health First has retained Kirby Partners to conduct a nationwide executive search for their Interim Director, Enterprise Data Integration position.

Interim Director, Enterprise Data Integration Overview:

Health First, with their strong position in the county and their exceptional leadership team, is taking data to the next level and is partnering with AdventHealth (formerly Adventist Health) to better serve their organization. This is not an acquisition or merger, but instead a partnership to utilize each other’s strengths. Reporting to the System Vice President of IDN Decision Support Analytics, this individual will lead and grow a team, currently of 3-4 people.

Partnering with both the Chief Digital Officer and the Chief Information Officer, this individual will be involved in data architecture, as well as data governance, and will interface with key leadership across all areas of the IDN. In addition, they will be working closely with AdventHealth on shared data. This position provides the opportunity to be a part of cutting edge technology.

This is a six-month interim position. A nationwide search for a full Director of Enterprise Data Integration will commence shortly. The interim could be considered for the full position.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Master’s degree preferred

 

Management and Experience:

  • 7+ years of healthcare-related data integration to support decision support analytics
  • Progressive leadership responsibilities
  • Knowledge of healthcare payer and/or provider analysis and reporting
  • 5+ years of healthcare BI and data management experience
  • Experience with data architecture
  • Experience in a multi-entity complex, distributed organization
  • A background of developing data analytics solutions and performing true data governance

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Implementation of an EDW
  • Health plan technology management
  • Proven abilities in resource allocation

Kirby Partners is filling an interim CTO position for a  leading healthcare system that has a 500+ person IT department and runs Epic.

Interim CTO Overview:

This key leadership position will lead and manage all technology for the organization.  The duration of the position is anticipated to be about six months.  The position is open due to the previous CTO moving to a consulting firm. The new CIO is innovative and is looking for the CTO to also innovate and help move the organization forward.  As a large system, they understand the need for technology to play a key role in progressive medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, lead and mentor a team of approximately 150 people in all areas of technology from security, infrastructure, data warehouses, mobile technology, cloud, networks, and telecommunications
  • Set and implement (in conjunction with the CIO) a strategic technology vision
  • Maintain and improve customer service
  • Prepare for new system implementations and new organizational growth

Position Requirements:

  • Healthcare IT experience with a multiple hospital system
  • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred
  • Strong understanding of current healthcare technology as well as an understanding of where technology is headed
  • Large organization experience overseeing multiple locations
  • Experience and knowledge of data security, data warehousing, infrastructure, networking, applications, telecommunication, cloud technology, mobile computing, etc.
  • Demonstrated vendor negotiation skills
