Moffitt Hiring Director for New Digital Innovation Studio

We are excited to be conducting another executive search for Moffitt Cancer Center as they build their Digital Innovation Practice.
The overarching team structure at Moffitt is Digital Innovation. This encompasses Information Technology, Health Data Services, and Digital. These three pillars are the core of the Digital Innovation strategy and execution.
Moffitt is seeking a Director, Digital Innovation – Operational Transformation for their Center for Digital Health which will include an innovation studio focused on leveraging new digital capabilities to eliminate operational inefficiencies and enhance consumer experiences throughout the enterprise. The studio is being built from the ground up with a startup-like approach, employing an agile methodology and embracing a “consumer first” mentality to design, deploy, and manage cutting-edge technology.
According to Moffitt’s Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Innovation Officer, Dr. Edmondo Robinson, “There are not a lot of health systems, much less cancer centers, that have “Digital Care and Discovery” as a major pillar of their whole strategic plan.”
Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida has become one of the world’s first cancer centers with a dedicated machine learning department, which will accelerate cancer research by translating powerful tools from the computer to the bedside. As Florida’s only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and one of only 30 leading cancer centers in the U.S. participating in the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, Moffitt is at the very forefront of cancer centers worldwide in pioneering advances like CAR T-cell therapy.
