This key position facilitates execution of strategic initiatives and the implementation of technologies across the portfolio using new and traditional architectures. The Enterprise Architect will be a part of the CTO organization and provide industry leadership on key design decisions balanced against resource impacts and risks to Duke Health.

Required Skills:

  • Well-versed in enterprise technology buying and evaluation processes paired with a strong understanding of hyper-scale computing solutions and experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly distributed global cloud-based systems

The Vice President, Technology Services/Chief Technology Officer (CTO) serves as the technology strategist for ECU Health.

The CTO architects technical strategy and infrastructure standards ensuring high availability of clinical and business applications. The CTO also leads a Technical Infrastructure team of around 80 people.

Qualifications

Education:

The Ambulatory Associate Chief Medical Informatics Officer (ACMIO) serves as a liaison between physicians and Information Services (IS) to maximize patient outcomes, experience, and safety along with quality of care and operational efficiency.
